Hi Max,

Just looked in your cpanel, there are no parked domains set up? I Martin said something about you or he setting up a parked domain?

I'm in there so I'll do it or re do it or whatever is going on.

Thanks, Jim.  Martin has left us, so he probably didn't get around to it.

Jim, Max is unavailable right now ( out earning a $ or two ) but the forum is down again.
It seems once you log out, you cannot get back in from both Firefox & IE.

Hi Ron,

Try inserting www in the domain name. Or alternatively if it's already in there, try leaving it out. You may remember Bob had a lot of problems with that on YMR, until everyone was using the same. Can you log in if you start from a link in an email?

Has anyone made any changes? And what's happening on MRG? All the pages are showing 404s. Is Max merging with MRG? I wish I had known about that earlier, I would have kept well clear.

regards,

Martin.

Martin, tried both ways with & without www and I havn't any e-mails now with the links in.
I don't know if any other changes since we got back in earlier today.

Max is NOT merging at all with MRG but just a small closed group.

Hmm. I've just been watching I CLAUDIUS on DVD, I'm seeing conspiracies everywhere. :)

But a lot of MRG members have suddenly arrived, and some given admin rights. They wouldn't have been interested if he had kept his group public. He told me he was changing the name to get more traffic -- how does closing the group do that?

regards,

Martin.

I had warned about this and was told it was being handled. I'll have to log everyone out to reset the cookie hang on.

I don't think anyone is logged in now Jim.
We did manage to get back in after you sorted the problem out, then it packed up again.

Hi again,

Just a reminder this particular category and forum is "WowBB Software Assistance", I didn't move it but probably should have.

If there was a parked domain for this account it was deleted because I had to re create it earlier today. Well yesterday now :) That is when the fun evidently started.

As it turns out the cookie domain in the config file was misspelled, only one M. If the cookie domain doesn't match the real domain name then there will be major problems.

The cookie domain has been corrected, and the cookie name I changed so it will force all members to log in again.

All should be well now.
