Hello, I need to either pay for coding for this on my forum or FIND the coding so that I can capture email addresses and phone numbers in my sector of business. Can someone help me here? I need the send button to go to an email address as well. Obviously after the fields are filled in. Are you saying you want these fields added to your registration process? Because UltraBB offers that as part of the "Custom Fields" area. You can add whatever field you want to the registration process and make them required.

Oh I am sorry. I should have been more specific. I would have this on my site in a thread that was static and it would have this calls to action if someone was interested in hair restoration services. The picture is a screenshot of our calls to action on our company website. I need something written like this in my forum.

The solution within the forum... would be to use it as part of the registration form that includes this functionality. To do it as you describe would not be something that could happen as part of a static thread. That is not really how "Forums" work. You would have to do some type of custom programing or script to accomplish this.

Do You have a separate webiste, if so you could put a form on your website and then add a link to it from the forum

Yes that is an option but I kinda want it on the forum itself because the forum is designed to have sponsorship but the leads will go to a general email and I will divide the leads up and give them to the sponsors.

It is a rather easy form actually, and can be made to match the forum. You can find simple e-mail forms all over the internet, but they can be easily abused for spam mailings. It could be e-mailed to you at the address of your choice and could be set with either captcha or so only logged in members could access it. PM me for details and pricing. Just don't leave it unprotected if you find samples on line as it can be used like I said to relay spam mails.

If you want to add banners, sponsor ads, info request forms, etc. you may want to consider a two or even three column layout for your forum - it makes for a much better user experience. If you just have a single column layout then all kinds of *stuff* piles up at the top of the page and your visitors have to scroll down past it just to get to the forum contents (i.e. what they really came to see). If you make me look at (and scroll past) a bunch of banners with every page load then I'll just find some other site to visit ... The sidebars in a multi-column layout are perfect for ad placement, interactive forms, etc. If you want to see a multi-column example in action you can look at my forum (iphomeport.com). PM me if you want guest credentials for a more thorough look around. My $0.02 ...

sw out of curiosity if I change my forum over to a two or 3 column format, do I loose any of my current posts or current headers or banners at the top of the forum?

Tom, To the best of my knowledge when you switch from single-column to one of the other formats (see Admin Panel / General / Menu Layout) whatever you currently have at the top of the forum should ride along with the main column - the new side boxes will just display some sample contents that you can then edit using the 'Edit Left Side Boxes' and 'Edit Right Side Boxes' buttons on that same page. The changes in between the various display modes should be non-destructive, i.e. you should be able to toggle from one mode to the next and then go back to the original setting just to see if you like the various layouts without losing anything. As always, backup early and often before trying any changes like this!

No need to back up you can switch back and forth like a light switch. If you have content in both right and left, the left will not show if you only have right on but the minute you switch back it will be there again it just stops displaying it. It is simply a display trick does nothing with the data at all.

Another question when I switch over to either of the other options for the menu ie columns, My menu no longer shows my addons ie The chat option or the arcade option Which menu do I need to add these options too. If I dont use the columns then my menu already has the chat and arcade link

You can add them easy enough to all the menus. It would be nice to have dynamic menus configurable in the admin panel, then it would propagate throughout the entire menu structure. I've had so many ideas in the past 3 or 4 days my head hurts.

I have a idea how to do that, and will give it a try, Dynamic menus would be great, but I don't mind modifying them myself, I learn more by doing
