Hi All!

I see these PHP files accumulating in cPanel's File Manager:

.wysiwygPro_edit************
.wysiwygPro_preview*********

I build webpages using the cPanel - File Manager's EDIT, CODE EDIT, AND HTML EDIT Tools. I expect these .wysiwygPro_preview files are being generated and saved as a result.

My question>>>    Is it safe to delete these PHP files that begin with '.wysiwygPro_preview' and with '.wysiwygPro_edit'?

Thank you,

Troy

This one I have no idea on since I have never used this feature.

They might be intermediate files, used each time something is edited, they might just be scrap.

If it were me, I would take two I know what are, and rename them giving them a .tst extension or something. Then go in to the page, edit it, save. If it works and creates new files then it would be safe to remove them. If you get error messages, quit and go back and re rename them back to PHP.

Thanks, Jim.

I might just try that. I really don't use the 'html EDIT' tool any more, which I think was leaving these files. I'll have t check the dates.  Instead I just use the plain old EDIT tool in the File Manager. I'll have to experiment and later report what I find in a reply here.
