If you look around you might see some familiar faces :).

To make an extremely long story much shorter, our parent company Data 1 Systems, INC. has entered into a purchase agreement with WowBB.

This means that existing WowBB customers will be receiving service that UltraBB customers have become accustomed to.

WowBB has needed updated since about 2007 and UltraBB now becomes the "next major upgrade" for WowBB customers.

If you own a WowBB license it can be upgraded to an UltraBB license for $49.00 USD. This applies also to existing Ultra customers that own a WowBB license.

This also means that Data 1 Systems will be hosting all the customers previously hosted with WowBB. We have the equipment and experience to make the migration as painless as possible, and I'm sure you will enjoy the quickness and reliability of our network.

OMG: :q Jim, TVDinner, Wingnutter!  This is bringing back memories from my first forum software WOWbb.  I used to love it but I left because they stopped updating it and secondly I never could stand that when you uploaded an image to your site in a post it didn't end up in a sub-directory in your forum, it ended up in the SQL file.  Have they changed this in UltraBB? or is it the same?   What brought me to wowbb initially was the WYSIWYG and the search engine friendly URL rewriting.  They were sort of pioneers of that in those early days.  Anyway, nice to see all u guys here and won't forget all the kindness you had years ago when I purchased wowbb 1.7.

Great to find ya again!  I only had to reset my password LOL!

Hey hows it been? I do have a closet version that saves in a folder, but never released it. It was being tested when we came up with a major bug that wouldn't work in php 5.3, then over a year later I figured out it was one line of code.

Glad to see you here-

Hi,

It's not a problem any more because we now have an excellent add-on Image Gallery which saves to folders, and allows easy insertion of multiple inline images in posts.

Attachments are now used only for non-image files -- doc, pdf, etc.

regards,

Martin.

What's up. Great to see you again.

The program is still rocking and rolling along. The gallery is nice and you still have the option to attach multiple types of files including bmp gif jpg jpeg png txt pdf zip etc.

what have you been up to these days?

Hey TV! Hanging in there. Lost job and now working two part timers.  Sign of the bad economic times.  Have 3 young kids little time for anything else.  The moment I saw your avatar I knew I was in friendly waters!
