Jim will no doubt answer that here. The actual Data1 sales contact page is at:

Not to jump in at the end.. but have you used the disk space Analyzer to see what is occupying all of that space? I do not know anything about your site etc.... but I found that going through and optimizing my files made a big difference. I found that the gallery program was uploading full resolution pics from my camera (22 Megapixels 5760 × 3840) and even though I had it set to resize the files automatically, what it was really doing was storing the full file, and make a new copy of the image that was smaller. I saved a ton of space by resizing my JPEGS before uploading to something more reasonable for web use.

Just food for thought.

Hi Marty,

Alan is using David's gallery add-on for UltraBB. There is an option to store the original image files, but he has it turned off. All his image files have been resized.

The problem (if it is a problem :) ) is that his members have uploaded no less than 28,500 images to his gallery, rising daily.

Plus about 200,000 posts in the database.

It's a small board in terms of membership, but they have all been very active for many years.

regards,

Martin.

Hi Alan,

Click Gallery-Admin at the top right when viewing your gallery at http://yourmodelrailway.net/gallery_view.php?display=ALL#gallery_top

Then you can change the gallery settings. However there are no changes you can make which will reduce your web space usage. Don't change the option to "Retain the original image" otherwise your web usage will increase significantly.

The slide viewer option to view the gallery pics as slides (e.g. http://yourmodelrailway.net/gallery_view_slides.php?user=753 ) does not use any extra web space.

regards,

Martin.
